Mehmet Ihsan Kalkan is a graduate of the law school who has been employed as a lawyer and a businessman for almost 25 years. He has, over the years, had a career that is a combination of both legal and entrepreneurial thinking. His four years working with the United Nations International Organization on Migration were one of the most characteristic moments of his life. This experience provided him with first-hand experience of the issues facing the world and international cooperation.

He is the Turkish President of the Global Leaders Businessmen today and the Industry Organization of Asia-Africa. Moreover, he is the President of Mateete Football Club in Uganda, and this demonstrates that he believes that leadership can be applied in sports and community development.
